Workshops

I have just finished another workshop today with 5 wonderful students. Last week I tutored a workshop in my home on the technical sides of portrait drawing, and this week I took my students into the dusty world of soft pastel. This is the first time I tutored a workshop ‘under my own flag’, from my own home, and besides it being a learning curve, it was most certainly great fun.

I really enjoyed showing everyone how you can get a likeness in a drawing and think they enjoyed achieving one! I hope to do more workshops in the future – next few planned for May – but I am still deciding on subject matter. There is so much to choose from after all! I am also considering to go bigger and use a hall somewhere or stay small and personal in the kitchen. We’ll see. Plenty to ponder over.

Thank you to my wonderful students who made it all such a brilliant experience.  ….I have just finished another workshop today with 5 wonderful students. 1. Try getting some prices from small local hotels who are always glad of the potential for people booking accommodation during less popular months – and it then means you might get people who will travel to do a workshop with you.
Ask them if they will offer a discounted rate for bedrooms if you book a tutorial room with them.

    1. That’s a good idea! Thanks for the suggestion.
Well, if there is anybody who is too far away and would be interested in this option, let me know! 🙂
