What am I working on Right now?

In my studio in South Gloucestershire I am busy with a number of projects

  • Some new small lace and fabric still life paintings
  • A long content  video course: a demonstration of a fabric painting from start to finish in multiple modules which will be available to purchase online (for a moderate fee as it is my first long content video) See here for the first preview.


  • 4 October 2018: Artist’s Talk. Including a small solo exhibition open during the talk and during the weekend of 6-7 October. At Kingshill House, Dursley. Tyndale Arts Week.

Antique lace shop, 't Apostelientje in Bruges will soon have some of my paintings available. They already sell my greeting cards. 't Apostelientje is a gem of a shop in the middle of gorgeous historic Bruges. They sell antique handmade lace and lace making accessories. 

Royal Society of Portrait Painters 

My pastel self portrait has been selected for the annual exhibition of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, held at the Mall Galleries in London.  Exhibition 10-25 May 2018.


July 2018
The third of a four part series in Artists & Illustrator’s Magazine was just published in the August issue. The series deals with the many oil painting myths still out there. Next month: toxicity.

Bath Society of Artists exhibition

March 2018.
Delighted that two of my works have been selected to hang in the annual exhibition of the Bath Society of Artists this year. The show is on from 24 March until 12 May at the Victoria Art Gallery in Bath.
